Ilia Chashnik

 

Ilya Chashnik (1902 - 1929) was a suprematist artist, a pupil of Kazimir Malevich and a founding member of the UNOVIS school. He painted, was proficient in metalwork, and designed ceramics produced at the Imperial Porcelain Factory.
