Nils Dardel
Nils Dardel (1888 - 1943), was a 20th-century Swedish Post-Impressionist painter. He studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in Stockholm. After studying in Sweden he did as many of his contemporaries and traveled to Paris around 1910. Dardel primarily took inspiration from the Fauvists with their pure palette, the Post-Impressionists, as well as Japanese woodcuts.
